Team leader (d/m/w) kitchen for the new opening of CenterParcs Nordborg Resort in Denmark starting April 2025

Your tasks:

  • Organization of the daily operations and coordination of the staff, including creating duty schedules in collaboration with your colleagues 
  • Leading and motivating the team, ensuring an efficient and smooth shift in close cooperation with your colleagues
  • Training and onboarding of new employees 
  • Conducting performance reviews in consultation with the head chef
  • Responsibility for quality, guest service, and sales during the shift  
  • Ensuring smooth kitchen operations  
  • Assisting with the preparation of hot and cold dishes 
  • Creating menu proposals and recipes
  • Ensuring proper storage conditions regarding order, cleanliness, and hygiene

Your profile:

  • Completed training in cooking, catering, restaurant, or hotel management, or an equivalent qualification
  • Several years of experience in the above-mentioned fields, preferably with initial experience in leading employees
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to set a good example for the team
  • Ability to organize and work efficiently under pressure, with a positive attitude 
  • Flexibility in working hours and willingness to take shifts on weekends and holidays
  • An inviting, communicative, and open personality 
  • Familiar with MS Office and good knowledge of relevant programs
  • Good knowledge of Danish and English, German skills are a plus
